Baton Rouge and our first Mardi Gras Parade

Our RV spot was at this Equestrian Center and right next to the Mississippi River.  There was a levee that kept the water in the river.  We spent time exploring Baton Rouge, like the Louisiana Art and Science Museum and the capital area of Louisiana.  We went into Old Spanish Town for the Mardi Gras parade.  We had a blast with the locals jumping up and down as the floats went by, of course we got our beads, lots of beads. One night there was a tornado warning right on us.  It did not land but it was for sure pretty scary.  It was a once in a life time experience all around.
